Jet Normandia Memorial Portrait
Original Graphite Drawing by Tony DeCicco
Some souls leave paw prints that never fade.
The Jet Normandia Memorial Portrait was born from love and loss - a tribute commissioned after Jet had already crossed the rainbow bridge, his family would never have to forget the intensity of those eyes, the softness of that fur, or the quiet dignity he carried in every moment.
Rendered in exquisite photo realistic graphite, every strand of Jet's coat is captured with painstaking precision - from the whisper-soft chest fur to the sharp alertness in his reflective eyes. The surrounding grass and textured scene ground him in the world he once inhabited, alive and present in this memorial portrait.
This is not just a drawing. It is a permanent record of a life well loved.
The Jet Normandia Memorial Portrait is a testament to what art can do that photographs alone cannot — it makes you feel them again.

Care Instructions
Always frame graphite drawings behind glass or UV-protective acrylic to prevent smudging and UV damage.
Avoid direct sunlight, as it can fade the paper. Do not hang in humid or high-moisture rooms, such as bathrooms, which can warp paper.
Ensure the frame is well-sealed to keep dust out.
After the tragic loss of our beloved Jet, this piece became one of the most meaningful portraits our family received. The level of artistic detail and accuracy was incredible, and it truly brought a sense of comfort during such a difficult time. Now, every time we see it hanging on our wall, we’re reminded of the warmth and love we shared with him. It’s a beautiful tribute and a lasting remembrance. Thank you, Anthony.
Thank you Peter for the kind words and the opportunity to create this memorial piece for your family. I sincerely appreciate it and am glad I can help immortalize Jet.
